The Red Carpet Rollercoaster
Oct 29, 2024
This week I made a video for you to share the tale of Zoe’s red carpet event in LA. It had more unexpected twists and turns than her new movie (One Million Followers)!
In the video, you'll hear:
- A helpful approach when the unexpected shows up
- The benefits of following your heart rather than your head
- Why older children don’t want you to parent and what to do instead
- The challenge of detaching from the outcome and why it’s important to do so
- Plus the exciting adventures of going with the flow
Practising Courageous Self-Care has had so many benefits and one of the most important aspects has been creating amazing relationships with our kids.
I’m so grateful I’ve learned what I shared with you in the video so that I can be a much better mom than when my self-care was negligible.
I hope you enjoy the Red Carpet Rollercoaster! Click here to watch.
May you rise up to any challenge you face this week with an open heart and a “can-do” mindset.
(Here's Zoe and her pretend sister, Shelley Q.)
With steady love and expansive courage,

>super satisfied from the sweet potato, zucchini and red lentil stew I devoured earlier
PS - Our 9D Breathwork online session for this month is Wednesday night. Here’s what one participant said: “Wow!! I absolutely loved it and was shocked by my hidden anger. I’m so happy I did it and look forward to the results playing out in my world.” Click here for more details (and liberation)!
Of course, I have to recommend Zoe’s movie again. We had a chance to watch it this weekend and she was amazing! The director said that they hired her because she was meant to be a ray of sunshine in a plot that definitely took a turn for the worse.
She did that very thing. I was just beaming whenever she was on the screen. It was pretty cool to watch her movie with her sitting right beside us. We felt so blessed.
One Million Followers is available on Google Play and Apple TV and in select theatres in the US. Zoe plays Charlotte, the younger sister of the main character.
I recommend it - the movie was compelling and entertaining. Three thumbs up! (Because I’m her mom and that gives me an extra thumb.)
I helped to facilitate a virtual retreat this past weekend and got to hear from some spectacular transformational leaders.
One of the speakers played a song I’d never heard before but moved me to tears on the very first listen.
It’s called May I Suggest by Red Molly.
Super powerful, moving and such a great message in a perfect package of harmonies. Loved it!
Search it up on your favourite streaming service and have a listen. Your heart will thank you.
