How to Manifest Giant Chocolate Bunnies and More

The first time I taught my daughter Zoë how to manifest, she had a magical experience.

Zoë was about 6 years old at the time and it was a week before Easter. My mom gave her the sheet for a colouring contest.

"What's the prize?" she asked.

"A giant chocolate bunny from Bernard Callebaut*," replied my mom. *local gourmet chocolatier

"I'm going to win it," declared Zoë.

Step 1: Know without a doubt that what you desire is now coming to you.

Zoë completed the colouring and we zipped off to the store to drop it off, just before the deadline.

In the car on the way home, I shared what I knew about manifesting.

"Imagine you just got the call telling you that you won. Practice feeling like it just happened."

Zoë closed her eyes and imagined the happy scenario. When I glanced in the rear-view mirror, her face was glowing like the sun.

Step 2: Feel the feelings you will feel once you've manifested your desire.

"Next, let's imagine who you would call to share the great news," I told her.

Zoë listed out the phone calls she would make to tell them about her giant prize.

"I would call Omi & Grandpa, Grandpa Chet, Grandma & Aunty Hedu, Aunty Nessie & Uncle PJ, and Tia."

Together we acted out some of the calls We could feel our excitement growing.

Step 3: Visualize details about the dream becoming reality. Incorporate the senses and imagine scenarios.

"We're not going to be able to eat that giant bunny all by ourselves," I said. "Who will we share it with?"

Zoë wondered, "Could I eat an ear and share the rest?"

"Absolutely."

She made her plans. She would break up the bunny to share with family and friends. She would bring a section to school for her teacher and each of her classmates. We would freeze the rest and use it in baking. Her plan was complete.

"Ok, the last part is to let it go," I said. "Will your life be alright even if you don't win the bunny?"

"Yes, but I'm going to win it," she assured me.

"I know."

Step 4: Detach from the outcome.

Zoë tracked the days until the prize would be awarded.

One morning, she said, "Today's the day Bernard Callebaut is going to call me to tell me I won."

Step 5: Trust.

We had company over for brunch and shared the story with them. Part way through the meal, the phone rang. All the adults' eyebrows went up. Could it really happen, we wondered.

I ran to the phone, picked it up and got so excited that I dropped it back into the cradle, accidentally hanging up (old school phone with a cord).

"OH NO!" I cried. I looked at the caller display. Bernard Callebaut appeared on the screen. What if they were about to call someone else???

After a brief moment of panic, it occurred to me to dial the previous caller (there was chocolate on the line... you understand my alarm and inability to form lucid thoughts). A lady answered. I explained what had happened and asked, "Were you calling to tell me something about a colouring contest?"

"Yes," she said, "Zoë won!"

Zoë and her brother Oakley started dancing around the living room in jubilation as all the adults exchanged looks of wonder.

The rest unfolded just as Zoë had planned. She made her calls and shared the exceptionally large bunny with everyone on her list.

Although I taught her how to manifest, I was still amazed at the outcome.

Reflecting on the magical experience, it appears to me that my daughter was successful because she simply knew it was going to happen. There was a complete lack of doubt. She went through the steps I taught her with trust and knowing. And so we ate gourmet chocolate bunny for many months.

Since then, she's manifested many other things and has also had some disappointments.

Manifesting makes life fun, adventurous and interesting.

Get clear on what you want and then follow the steps. Let me know what happens. I look forward hearing your magical stories.
