Healing with BEST

In practical terms, BEST contributes to healing physical pain and issues like my client, who had such severe knee pain she couldn’t walk very well. Within a few sessions, the pain was gone, and she regained full mobility.
It also helps with emotional issues. One of my clients said that his road rage just completely disappeared within a few sessions, and he wasn’t even working on that.
Relationships can also shift dramatically. I’ve had several clients meet their soul mates while we worked together, and people have also healed their deep wounds with mothers, sons, and other people in their lives.
One client’s mother even called her to apologize out of the blue for something that happened many years ago, shortly after we did a session together. She almost couldn’t believe it, but she already knew the power of BEST, so she was able to receive it.
Another client was able to stand up for herself in a way she’d never been able to do before. It’s powerful stuff!
BEST releases emotions that get trapped in the subconscious, causing the body to remain in fight or flight, even though the conscious mind can see that the danger has passed. It moves the nervous system into the parasympathetic, or rest and digest, so that healing can happen on all levels.
Finally, BEST is like if life were a flight school. Most people fly through life and experience a lot of turbulence and even crash landings over and over. It's like they're out there on the wing - at the mercy of outer circumstances, terrified, and holding on for dear life.
BEST and Spiritual BEST, in particular, are like flight simulators for your whole system. They give you energetic ways of being that relieve you from needing to learn through chaos and discomfort. You get to come into the cockpit and fly the plane in a more graceful and easeful manner.

The BALM Part 3: BEST

The final way to get stuck energy moving is with what’s known as Bio Energetic Sychronization Technique (BEST for short).
BEST was created by Dr MT Morter back in the day when talk of energy was quite taboo. He persevered, and his work is now known all over the world.
Dr Sue Morter, his daughter(and also creator of BodyAwake® Yoga), created the next iteration of BEST known as Spiritual BEST.
There are a few ways to explain BEST.
The most simple and straightforward is that it gets stuck energy moving (and that’s why it’s a part of The BALM).
Another way to look at BEST is that it resolves karma. To understand that statement, we also need to understand that karma isn’t some complex, etheric punitive judicial system. It’s just unintegrated energy.
Once the energy is integrated, karma gets resolved. So simple, right? Start our journey today.
Why 9D?

I’ve done a variety of types of breathwork, and in my opinion, 9D is the most transformative and impactful. It’s like the Cadillac of breathwork. You go in and get the job done, and then you see results. It’s time well spent.
So that’s part 2 of the BALM. Regular breathwork journeys and then daily breathwork practices are integral in getting stuck energy moving.
(And by the way, the daily practices fit into what you’re already doing, so it’s not like you need to allot 2 hours to sitting in stillness every day. Nope - you can do them while driving, scrolling, walking, waiting in line and anything else you’re doing. Very user friendly.)

Types of Breathwork
First off, there’s regular everyday breathwork that you use through life’s ups and downs. You can dramatically reduce reactionary tendencies, triggers, anxiety, and the like by using specific breathing techniques.
Secondly, there are breathwork journeys. Somatic breathwork is the most expedient way to get stuck energy moving. You really accelerate how quickly you can work through things because you get underneath the story (which keeps you stuck) and focus solely on the energy.
The kind of breathwork I love is called 9D Breathwork. It has nine different types of technology woven into the journeys that help the brain function in the highest way possible to amplify whatever you’re releasing and then calling in.
The BALM Part 2: Breathwork
When I first heard there was a thing called breathwork, I didn’t get it at all. I thought that after several decades of breathing, I pretty much knew what I was doing. I mean… inhale, exhale, repeat a gazillion times, and there you go.
Oh, how wrong I was.
Once I learned the transformational power of the breath, everything changed. That’s because the breath carries the power of the divine. The more awareness we have around that, the more we benefit.
You’re going to be breathing anyway, so doesn’t it make sense to do it in the most beneficial way possible?

That's how I discovered how to anchor consciousness in the core of the body (which is what we all really want, even if we don't know it yet).
Suddenly, I wanted to get on the mat every day (a miracle!).
Instead of getting injured on the mat, I healed injuries there (sprained ankle! back pain! menstrual cramps!). My mat became a sacred and beloved place of healing.
I could see that old beliefs were being dismantled and new ways of being were emerging. Who knew yoga could do all of that?
I sure didn’t, but I do now, and I’m super passionate about sharing this style of yoga.

The BALM Part 1:
BodyAwake® Yoga
Now, if you’re already thinking no thank you, yoga’s not my cup of tea, just read a little further.
A few years ago, I would have been thinking the same thing. I’d tried to love yoga for over 20 years but never really understood what all the fuss was about. No matter what style I tried, I got injured (even in prenatal yoga!) and felt mystified by why people loved it so much.
Then, in 2020, I tried a new style that changed everything. During the pandemic, I started doing BodyAwake® Yoga, created by Dr Sue Morter, and fell in love. Finally, it felt like the missing piece was revealed.
In this style of yoga, the mind, body, and breath are all connected in a way I’d never experienced before. My mind - which often functioned at turbo-speed - was given the task to follow the breath through the body and everything fell into place.


The Missing Piece
The key is to make space in the body, release what no longer serves, call in more of what you want vibrationally-speaking, and then emanate those new high-frequency energies.
Once you do that, you’ll attract situations and circumstances that are a vibrational match, and life improves in every area.
If this is brand new information for you, it might sound a little crazy or not quite make sense yet. Maybe at this point, you just want to know the how.
There are three simple ways to shift the energy in your bodies (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual). Let me show you.

If something’s not showing up in your life in the way you’d love, it’s simply not embodied yet. That means that there’s not space in the physical matter of the body for what you want more of to take up residence.
Energies like joy, celebration, serenity, bliss, love, delight, hope, and so on vibrate at a high frequency.
For many people, especially those who think a lot of contracted thoughts and grumble throughout life doing a lot of blaming, shaming, or complaining, there literally isn’t space in the body at a quantum level for those high-frequency energies to reside.

It's an inner game that happens through the body...
The body is the secret!
In a nutshell, the more we connect mind, body, and breath, the better life gets.
While some traditions teach that the body is the problem and others that we want to transcend the body or get out of it, the true solution is to go into the body with awareness and intention.
Introducing... Your Central Channel!

Imagine that there's a channel of energy in the core of the body - as if there were a fluorescent light tube going right through your centre, extending up two feet above the head and two feet below you into the earth.
This channel is known as the Sushumna.
When we bring the mind onto this energy channel, we basically get stuck energy moving again.
There’s a whole teaching around it that we won’t get into here, but modern science is proving what the ancient mystics knew already - that when we go within more often, especially through conscious breath, the outer world gets better and better.

How was the mind intended to be used?
The most powerful way to use the mind is to have it focus on the inner world.
There's a river of stillness at the core of our being, and it shows up in the very centre of the body.
The more we bring the mind to focus on sensations in the heart, solar plexus, belly, and so on, the better life gets.
(Even if the mind can't possibly see how that would work - it's just not trained yet.)
Stuck Energy Explained
Why, then, do we have 4,259,333 different names and labels for this stuck energy? (And yes, that's the official number.)
Simple. There’s a part of the mind that likes to complicate things.
In fact, the part of the mind makes up problems so that it can then prove to you that it’s useful.
You see, the mind wants nothing more than to be of service to you. It wants you to know that no matter what “goes wrong”, it’s on it. It will save the day!
The thing is - we tend to give the mind too much power.
Then we tend to believe that it knows what it’s talking about.
And, we trust that it’s giving us excellent advice.
Never mind that pretty much 100% of the time, what the mind predicts doesn’t come to fruition when it’s doing its worst-case-scenario-ing.
Ultimately, we want to use the mind in the way it was intended, not being the driver of the bus but being in the backseat as a useful contributor and not the sole decision-maker.
If you can learn to use the mind in the way it was intended, life becomes much smoother and more graceful.

FAQ
You’ll get access to themed yoga classes that rotate each month. Classes vary in length from 5 minutes - 1 hour.
There are also three live via Zoom (off-camera of course) classes available each month with access to the replays if you can't make it live. These classes take place two Monday mornings and one Friday morning. More details upon registration.
You could do a class once a week, or three times, or even daily. It’s up to you!
As a member, you can also request classes on certain topics such as yoga to heal headaches or vertigo or yoga to integrate anger or whatever would be supportive. Just send an email with your request and I’ll make it happen.
Inside the members’ site, you’ll get access to instructional videos on how to do the various kinds of daily breathwork practices. Follow along as often as you like until you get the hang of it.
For the 9D monthly live virtual session(s), attend live or access the replay(s), which will be available for one full week following the live broadcast.
Each month we do a different themed journey and they always seem to arrive at the perfect time. These sessions are generally two hours from start to finish.
Once a month, join a BEST Group healing session. All you need to do is show up (on or off camera - your choice), lay down, follow the instructions and - ta dah!- you’ll get stuck energy flowing.
These sessions are usually about 45 minutes and there’s replay available for 48 hours if you can’t attend live.
